Parent-Teacher conferences have been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 2nd from 3:30-7:30 in Granada. Scheduled times will remain the same, unless parents request or make adjustments.

GHEC Schools will be closed Tuesday, March 26th because of weather. As of now, Parent-Teacher Conferences are still on for this evening from 3:30-7:30. We will notify families if that changes. Thank you!

Do you or someone you know have a child turning three, four, or five years old before September 1st? We encourage families to check out our early childhood and kindergarten classrooms this Thursday, March 21st, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. We are offering FREE preschool classes for three- and four-year-olds. Words Matter Week is celebrated in the first full week in March! Words are powerful! They have the ability to uplift, inspire, and create positive change, but they can also harm and perpetuate stereotypes if not used thoughtfully! As we navigate our interactions, it's essential to remember that the words we choose matter! Let's strive to create a world where everyone feels valued, respected, and seen for who they are! Together, we can make a difference—one word at a time!

Biology class had a fun lab today with Mrs. Martinson and Mrs. Rode 3rd hour. We are checking for evidence that yeast is alive.

The Ecology Bus "Prairie Planetarium" came to GHEC Elementary on Friday, February 23rd, 2024! The "Prairie Planetarium" is a portable, inflatable dome with a projector system that projects the stars and planets on the inside of the dome. Kindergarten - 5th Grade Classes along with an after-school CER Program gave students the opportunity and fun experience to view that night’s sky from their hometown and learn all about the stars and constellations!
