Every year in the spring local area high schools are invited to participate in an art show at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. This show allows students to submit original artworks to be on display with other high school students in the surrounding area. The show is usually open to the public for about two weeks, and participating schools attend the closing ceremony on the last day the exhibit is open. At the closing ceremony awards are handed out to winners. GHEC students have been lucky enough to have their talents recognized because every year we have some winners from our school!!!
