Hello, my name is Kaitlin Tow/Martinson. I currently teach 8th Grade Physical Science, 9th/10th Grade Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Forensics.  I graduated from ISU in 2012 with a BS in Biology.  I then took a job as a research beekeeping assistant through the USDA/ARS North Central Regional Plant Introduction Station (NCRPIS) in Ames, IA. At this time, I taught a beekeeping class to 6th graders at Squirrel Hollow outdoor classroom and decided to enroll in ISU Science Education Masters Program. I enrolled full-time at Iowa State University to get my teaching licensure.  After working as a teacher for a few years in Iowa, I moved back to Minnesota and worked at two other local districts before accepting the science teaching position at GHEC.
On November 5, 2023, I will marry my fiance, Dalton Martinson and become Kaitlin Martinson.
